According to the partner agreement between Agilysys and Zaplox, a mobile key order is generated to Zaplox every time Agilysys signs a new customer contract for rGuest Express Mobile. Once the order is received, Zaplox invoices a start-up fee and an ongoing monthly fee per door is added once the solution is in operation. The Prairie Band Casino & Resort is forecasted at approximately SEK 650,000 if the mobile key solution remains in full operation for seven years (which is an average lifespan of a hotel lock). The Jefferson Hotel, a 5-star luxury hotel with 186 rooms in central Richmond, Virginia, USA, has teamed up with Zaplox to offer a mobile app for contactless check-in and checkout, and mobile keys replace plastic key cards when the hotel reopens in July.

Zaplox AB (publ) (“Zaplox”), which offers hotels and casinos a mobile guest journey for a convenient and engaging guest experience, announces that Zaplox will deliver mobile keys to Talking Stick Resort in Scottsdale, Arizona as part of its partnership with Agilysys. Talking Stick Resort is a AAA Four Diamond Resort with 497 rooms and recipient of several recent hotel and casino awards, including Casino of the Year” by the International Entertainment Buyers Association (IEBA). The Zaplox SDK will be integrated with Agilysys Visual One property management solution and lock systems from ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions.

It is Zaplox’s partnership with Agilysys, a leading supplier of hospitality software and hotel property management systems (PMS) to casinos and resorts in North America that has generated the new agreement, in which the Zaplox SDK is included in the Agilysys mobile guest app rGuest Express Mobile. Agilysys benefits from Zaplox’s unique capabilities and has added the mobile keys functionality to its own mobile solution. At the Talking Stick Resort, the Zaplox SDK is integrated with Agilysys Visual One PMS for hotels and with the electronic lock system from ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions.

Up until now, Talking Stick Resort has been offering 24-hour check-in and checkout service through the front desk, where guests have waited in line to check in and receive a key. The new mobile solution allows guests to check in/check out at any time of day, but without waiting in line at the front desk. Instead, guests can go straight to their hotel room and open the door with a mobile key that is linked directly to their reservation. As a result, Talking Stick Resort is able to provide guests better service and increased availability.

As specified in the partnership agreement with Agilysys, Zaplox receives an order for mobile keys each time Agilysys signs a customer contract for the rGuest Express Mobile. Once the order for the mobile keys is received, Zaplox invoices a start-up fee, followed by a monthly charge per door once the solution is live. The new Agilysys agreement, pertaining Talking Stick Resort is forecasted at approximately SEK 700 000 if the mobile key solution remains in full operation for seven years (which is an average lifespan of a hotel lock). The agreement does not have any guaranteed volume or revenue levels.

Zaplox’s mobile key solution is already included in SkiStar’s mobile guest journey and the new integration enables rental cabins that are equipped with mobile-enabled locks from ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions to be unlocked with a mobile key from Zaplox.

SkiStar has used Zaplox SDK to deliver a mobile guest journey for several years, enabling guests to use mobile check-in and mobile keys to access their cabins. Up until now, Zaplox’s solution has been integrated with mobile locks from SALTO Systems, but with the new agreement, SkiStar will be adding integration with locks from ASSA ABLOY. The new lock integration allows SkiStar to also offer mobile keys to guests staying in cabins with mobile-enabled locks from ASSA ABLOY.
