Radisson Blu Mountain Resort has partnered with Zaplox to offer guests a smoother and more efficient check-in experience that adhere to social distancing guidelines by delivering a mobile key, directly to the guest’s mobile phone. At arrival, guests do not have to wait in line or handle physical key cards, but can go straight to their room or apartment and open the hotel room door by holding the phone against the door lock.

Zaplox’s mobile key app has been integrated with the resort’s electronic door locks from ASSA ABLOY.

Because of Zaplox’s mobile key solution, Radisson Blu Mountains Resort will be able to streamline the check-in process, which is especially important at peak times, during weekends, when most guests arrive and depart around the same.

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is especially important to prevent long lines and crowds gathering in the lobby. For that reason, technology, such as Zaplox’s mobile key app, is becoming a critical tool to ensure that the hotel can continue to deliver the same high level of service while minimizing physical contact with the staff.

Partnership with Agilysys results in yet another premium U.S. casino deploying mobile keys based on Zaplox SDK

The agreement includes both properties with a total of 554 rooms. According to the partner agreement between Agilysys and Zaplox, a mobile key order is generated to Zaplox every time Agilysys signs a new customer contract for rGuest Express Mobile. Once the order is received, Zaplox invoices a start-up fee and an ongoing monthly fee per door is added once the solution is in operation. The Prairie Band Casino & Resort is forecasted at approximately SEK 650,000 if the mobile key solution remains in full operation for seven years (which is an average lifespan of a hotel lock).
