This yet another customer win that is generated from the partnership with Agilysys, a leading provider of property management systems (PMS) for casinos and resorts in North America. The Zaplox SDK is part of Agilysys mobile solution rGuest Express Mobile, in which Agilysys benefits from Zaplox’s mobile key platform and knowledge to deliver a mobile guest journey. Island Resort & Casino will now be able to offer guests a contact-free mobile check-in experience with a mobile key that allows guests to go straight to their room and unlock the hotel room door with their phone, throughout their stay. According to the partner agreement between Agilysys and Zaplox, a mobile key order is generated to Zaplox every time Agilysys signs a new customer contract for rGuest Express Mobile. The Island Resort & Casino project is forecasted at approximately SEK 500,000 if the mobile key solution remains in full operation for seven years (which is an average lifespan of a hotel lock). The agreement includes a total of 1,162 rooms at ten of Icelandair’s hotels in Iceland. Zaplox Kiosk will enable Icelandair Hotels to offer guests the use of a self-service kiosk upon arrival at the hotel. Icelandair Hotels Group has selected the latest generation of Zaplox’s successful kiosk solution, Zaplox Kiosk to make the check-in and checkout process smoother and more efficient at ten of its hotels in Iceland. In the near future, Icelandair Hotels will be able to offer guests the ability to find their reservation, check-in, and encode their own key card by using the Zaplox Kiosk. Guests can also use the kiosk to check out and pay for their stay.  Zaplox Kiosk allows Icelandair Hotels to immediately improve the guest experience by eliminating the need for guests to wait in line to check-in and receive a key card. At the same time, it enables the hotel to utilize its staff resources more efficiently and offer new revenue-generating services, including spa and restaurant reservations, presented at a time when guests are more receptive to making a purchase. The agreement does not include any volume or revenue guarantees. The first kiosks are scheduled to be up and running in April of 2020.

Popular boutique hotel in Vienna renews the contract with Zaplox to meet the increasing demand for mobile check-in and mobile keys and other mobile guest services.

Zaplox AB, a developer of mobile guest journey software for hotels and casinos, announced it has renewed the contract with Schani Hotels, which includes Hotel Schani Wien and the new Hotel Schani Salon, both boutique hotels with a total of 159 rooms in central Vienna in Austria. Schani Hotels, which has offered Zaplox mobile guest journey with mobile keys to its guests since 2015, is continuing to invest in improvements of the guest experience by upgrading to Zaplox Premium to meet the demand for additional mobile guest services.
